Bonfire Newsletter February 2020

Bonfire Newsletter February 2020 – We think you’ll look good. Like really good.

Because nothing looks better than helping those in need.

By purchasing a shirt, you’re helping to pay for medical costs of cats like Mr. Boots.

Meet Mr. Boots. He came to us earlier this month because his family moved and left him out in the cold. He was found emaciated, sick & dirty.

With the love and care from one of our foster parents & doctor visits and medications, Mr. Boots is finally on the long road to recovery!

About For Kitty’s Sake

For Kitty’s Sake is an all-volunteer, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization. We work within our community to provide a safe haven, medical support, foster placement and adoptive homes for cats in need. We depend upon our foster parents, board members, and volunteers at our cat adoption center at the PetSmart in Mantua NJ, to care for our cats while they await adoption. We have developed a partnership with local veterinarians who work with us on a case-by-case basis, and who continue to impress us with their commitment to our mission.

Our adoption process is thorough. We require vet references from all of our potential adopters and will do home visits and follow-up visits in most cases. For Kitty’s Sake will take back any cat we have adopted out with no questions asked. We prioritize the health and well-being of each and every cat that comes to us and are proud to be one of the few local groups who will invest the time and attention to making sure that all of our cats go to homes in which they will be loved and well-cared for for the rest of their lives! Our goal is to ensure a quality life for each and every one of our cats.

For Kitty’s Sake relies entirely on donations and fundraising events to support our mission. Community support and involvement is crucial to our effectiveness. We could not achieve our mission without the dedicated assistance of our foster home providers, our adoptive families, our veterinarian and business partners, our volunteer network and our generous supporters.

Will you be their Valentine?

“I’ll love you meow & forever”
Ollie | Male | 4m | Body type: Growing boy
I’m spunky and full of energy! I love kids, dogs, and other cats, but hate wen someone picks the Rainbow Road on Mario Kart. Once I’m done playing, you’ll find me snoozing with my toys. Swipe right on Ollie

“I’m just a hunk of purring love”

Johnny Angel | Male | 1.5y | Body type: More to love
I’ve been described by my foster family as a sweet, old soul with smoldering good looks! I love listening to oldies music, and hate haunted graveyards. I’m looking for a family love me forever.Swipe right on Johnny Angel

“A cuddle a day keeps the vet away”
Adam | Male | 3y | Body type: Slender
I’m an artisanal catnip lover seeking a human companion. I enjoy curling up to write telenovelas and romantic cuddle sessions on the sofa. I dislike being dressed up in a tiny business suit and brought to the office to meet your coworkers.Swipe right on Adam

“I’m not kitten around”

Miles | Male | 5y | Body type: More to love
I’m not looking for any hookups or one night stands. I like head scratches, naps, and sleeping in sunbeams. Don’t let my voluptuous body deter you, I’ll keep you warm during the winter nights.Swipe right on Miles

A Special Thank You

Thank you so much for your continued support! As of January 1, 2020, A Voice for Paws changed gears and is now concentrating solely on and dedicated to TNR.

The adoption & fostering departments branched off into a new rescue, For Kitty’s Sake. We ask that anyone interested in adoptions, volunteering and fostering (as well as all previous adopters) find and follow our new accounts online for more information, updates on new arrivals, and success stories.
